Job responsibilities

The Senior App User Growth Specialist’s primary objective is to increase the active user base of SmartNas app. This is a critical role that will help us achieve our business goals and provide excellent customer experience. The role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, engage, and retain users, as well as analyzing user data to identify opportunities for improvement. The work will directly impact the success of SmartNas app and the overall success of Smart Axiata’s vision to be the leading app-based techco (technology and communication) service provider.

  • Developing and executing strategies to attract, engage, and retain users, focusing on increasing the active user base of our mobile app to achieve the KPI set (DAU, WAU, MAU, repeat log in, browsing session, uninstall trend, retention, baby sitting etc.)
  • Analyzing user data and behavior to identify opportunities for improving user acquisition, retention, and growth strategies.
  • Identify key trends and patterns in historical data to inform strategic decisions aimed at optimizing app user growth.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for the app users’ acquisition and retention strategic.
  • Evaluate and explore opportunities for introducing SmartNas as a management channel for existing services of Smart Axiata
  • Drive and execute on campaigns how to increase transactions and engagement towards newly introduced features in SmartNas
  • Develop and execute user acquisition and retention campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and paid advertising in close cooperation with Smart Marketing team.
  • Develop and execute referral and loyalty programs to incentivize users to invite their friends and continue using the app.
  • Develop and execute A/B testing and other experiments to optimize user acquisition and retention.
  • Provide regular updates to the marketing team on user growth and engagement metrics, and work with them to adjust strategies as needed
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis to continuously enhance growth strategies.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business information system, marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the following: stakeholder management; product conceptualization and design; or growth marketing,
  • In love with customer-centric approach to product development, focusing on user needs and business goals
  • Good Project Management skills and proven records of delivery by timeline
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to establish work relationships and communicate effectively with staff, at all levels including senior management.
  • Excellent in creating a concise presentations and reports.
  • Proactive, Passionate, Self-Confidence, Self-Driven, & Quality Oriented, able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to demonstrate high-level of verbal and written English.
  • Experience in Digital Product Design: Conceptualize, Design Thinking, User Experience oriented as well as familiarize with using UI/UX design tools.
  • Proven experience in user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies for mobile apps
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large amounts of user data to drive decision-makings, team handling and collaborative skills with people from different fields.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and other experimentation methods to optimize user acquisition and retention strategies
  • Able to lead a execution team of people from different functions.
