Job responsibilities

Supporting the Enterprise sales team on product technical matters, meet clients for network services, produce technical solutions to respond to customers' inquiries, work with the transmission and planning teams, and suggest improvements to the pre-sales process. Additionally, provide technical support to customers and respond to their technical inquiries.

• Provide technical support to the Enterprise sales team on product matters
• Meet with clients to discuss network services such as Internet access, IP transit, and DPLC services
• Develop technical solutions in response to customer inquiries and requirements, including SASE and SD-WAN technologies
• Collaborate with transmission and planning teams to understand fiber capacity details
• Recommend improvements to the pre-sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide technical support to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns
• Conduct network planning and design activities to optimize infrastructure, incorporating transport solutions
• Develop and maintain up-to-date network infrastructure documentation
• Perform network security assessments and implement security policies
• Ensure network uptime by identifying and troubleshooting network issues
• Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices and software
• Evaluate and recommend network hardware and software to meet business needs, with a focus on transport solutions
• Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Certifications in network technologies such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCIP.
• Knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPLS, and VXLAN.
• Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with SASE and SD-WAN technologies
• At least 3 years of experience in network engineering and deployment.
• Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible or Python scripting.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Cacti, PRTG, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of the pre-sales process
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong customer service skills.
