Job responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist, your main responsibility is to capitalize on the vast amount of data to provide a better experience for the customers, identify untapped business opportunities, and lead the implementation of AI & ML in the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Identify challenges and opportunities that can be solved by data analytics, Machine Learning or AI.
• Lead the insight discovery initiatives that provide new competitive advantages to business.
• Study and profile customer behavior for personalized campaigns.
• Build recommendation engine for upsell and cross sell.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain models in production environment.
• Establish feedback loop for model improvement.
• Employ best practices and optimized solutions.
• Write documentation for the projects.
• Mentor the junior team members.

Job requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrable experience in a data science or related role.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Proven understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts, techniques, and algorithms.
• AI & Generative AI: Experience applying Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI principles to solve complex problems.
• Data Science & Statistics: Strong foundation in data science methodologies, data mining, and statistical analysis.
• MLOps: Familiarity with MLOps principles and practices for deploying and managing machine learning models in production.

Programming Languages & Frameworks:

• Python: Expert-level proficiency in Python programming language and its relevant libraries for data science (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• SQL: Deep understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases. Experience with Hive/Impala for working with Big Data is a plus.
• MLflow (plus): Proficiency with MLflow (or similar tools) for managing the machine learning lifecycle is a strong advantage.
