Job responsibilities

To maintain, troubleshoot, operate, and install transmission network equipment including ac-acceptance, rollout & provisioning within defined SLAs. To work with vendors & contractors for escalating issues and acceptance of new transmission systems, including preparation and maintenance of supplies & spare parts for troubleshooting case.

• To perform installation of new equipment and transmission system capacity expansion
• To conduct troubleshooting and restoration of transmission network systems in accordance with SLA
• To perform commissioning of transmission network equipment including IPRAN, DWDM and radio/microwave transmission systems
• To perform sites/cells performance checks and related radio network configuration activities
• To perform preventive and corrective maintenance of transmission network equipment
• To work with contractors & vendors for acceptance, maintenance & escalation activities
• To manage and maintain spare part supply to ensure availability when required.
• To provide on-duty standby operations in case of emergency maintenance requirements in accordance with monthly schedule
• To monitor and clearing alarm
• Any tasks assigned by manager.

Job requirements

• 3-5 years experience in installation, maintenance, and commissioning of Transmission
• 3-5 years experience on operation and maintenance, troubleshooting of Radio Station or related fields.
• End to End Technical View (Foundational): Knowledge and ability to understand the telecommunications industry, the end-to-end architecture, value chain, systems and interconnect/inter-operation including process flows from customer to service in support of service delivery and the service from the customer demands to the delivery, in the context of your domain of expertise.
• Communication Skills (Intermediate): Knowledge and ability to impart or exchange information by verbal, written or other means.
• Problem Solving (Troubleshooting) (Intermediate): Knowledge and ability to analyse problems, identify the root cause, establish cause-and-effect linkages, and propose solutions.
• Analytical Ability (Intermediate): Knowledge and ability to understand, evaluate, interpret, and analyse data.
