1. What documents do I need to bring to a Smart Shop to purchase a new SIM card?

One of the following (must be valid):

  • National ID card.
  • Passport.
  • Government ID card.
  • Monk ID card.

2. What documents do I need to bring to a Smart Shop to purchase a new SIM card in a company’s name?

All of the following (must be valid):

  • Color copy of company patent with an original company stamp.
  •  Color copy of company business license with an original company stamp.
  •  National ID card or passport of the company’s owner (PIC of number) with an original company stamp.
  •  Requester’s national ID card.

3. What documents do I need to bring to a Smart Shop to transfer ownership of a SIM card to another person?

  • You and the intended recipient of the SIM card must go to a Smart Shop.
  • The transfer process will cost 2 USD.
  • You must both bring a valid national ID card, government ID card, passport or monk ID card.
  • New SIM Card or reconnection number from Frozen can transfer ownership after 7 days.

4. What documents do I need to bring to a Smart Shop to change a SIM card?

Keeping your number safe is important to us. So, if you’ve lost or broken your SIM and are here to reclaim your number on a new SIM, we’ll ask you for a few things to confirm your identity:
1. Information about your recent usage.
2. A photo of you with the ID document initially used for registration.
3. Signature verification.
4. Valid ID document (national ID card, passport, driving license, monk ID or government ID).
