Job responsibilities

• Plan, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure systems related to load balancers, web application firewalls, virtualization, server operating systems, and critical applications to comply with security requirements and achieve high availability and automation of company systems and applications.
• Collaborate with planning and application teams to plan and provision servers based on project requirements and demands.
• Support application owners and vendors to troubleshoot system and application issues.
• Plan and execute deployments of critical and complex systems and applications for infrastructure and related teams based on requirements.
• Plan and configure load balancers to achieve high availability and load sharing of systems based on application requirements.
• Develop an automated playbook to reduce the provisioning time for daily tasks.
• Configure and administer a web application firewall to ensure the protection of websites published on the Internet.
• Configure and maintain name translation systems to ensure high-performance DNS service for customers.
• Execute projects or tasks related to virtualization, such as enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, and expansion of platforms to support business demands.
• Supervise team members in fixing vulnerabilities, applying patches, and deploying security controls to minimize system vulnerability risks.
• Plan and propose system modernization to comply with security requirements and achieve high uptime.
• Participate in disaster recovery drills under the supervision of the cloud infrastructure manager.
• Support and coach junior team members.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Certification in VMware virtualization is an advantage.
• Certification in Linux and open source-related fields is an advantage.
• Certification in security-related fields is an advantage.
• Four to five years of hands-on experience with Linux and Windows OS.
• Have a background of working at Telecom/ISP/Bank or similar environment.
• Three years of experience working with well-known virtualization
• Hands-on experience with security control and vulnerability fixing.
• Hands-on experience in developing automated playbooks and scripting.
• Experience working on multi-layer architecture.
• Strong knowledge of the VMware environment.
• Strong knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) related.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, and bash script.
• Solid knowledge of planning, architecture, deployment, and maintaining security standards of application.
• Perfect understanding of TCP/IP knowledge.
• Knowledge of SAN and NAS storage connection principles.
• Self-starter, High attention to detail, Communication skills, Customer focus, critical thinking.
• Good in English, both written and spoken.
