Junior Application Developer – Automation

Job responsibilities

This role will be responsible for research, development, and implementation of a fully automated CI/CD toolchain and test automation in the DevOps methodology to meet business demand effectively.

• Manage high-quality product delivery, which includes reviewing designs, developing test plans and test cases, testing, and building test automation.
• Enhance our test automation frameworks by refactoring or building new frameworks and infrastructure from the ground up as needed.
• Contribute to team success by learning new technologies and tools, often while automating the software.
• Keep R&D and implement CI/CD automation across all applications in DevOps.
• Work closely with the business team, mobile developers, backend developers, and technical stakeholders to invent, prioritize, build, and support our applications. Participate in design reviews and provide improvement recommendations for the automation framework.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field:
• Programming languages: Java and Python
• 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like Appium, Selenium, BDD (Cucumber/Specflow), and others.
• Experience implementing, using, and applying DevOps technologies and concepts like Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, SonarQube, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong ability to create test plans and an intuitive understanding of where and how the software will fail.
• Knowledge of automation testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Familiarity with mobile application build and release management.
• Good English communication
