Job responsibilities

Network Rollout Engineer (Site Acquisition) is to lead and manage all related acquisition tasks with high negotiation skills to persuade developers in agreement, able to expand necessary network footprint into existing or new development areas to improve Smart’s top-notch users’ experiences.

• Acquire new development of both mobile and fixed network footprint inside the existing or new development area - not limited to Residential Building, Condo, etc.
• Liaise with internal and external teams for all relevant contracts and/or MoU reviewal, finalization, and sign-off.
• Monitor the progress of the forecast development plan of each developer and the right time to come up with proposed technical solutions.
• Perform/attend a regular meeting with all developers to monitor the progress of their development to align with the newly built site rollout.
• To provide and manage 24/7 operations including emergency call-out and non-office hour support.

Job requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecom, or other related fields is required.

Working Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in site acquisition in telecom rollout.
• Minimum 3  years of working experience in the telecommunications field familiar with wireless networks, transmission include fiber rollout (IP / IT / 3G / 4G / 5G )
• Experience in Sales & Marketing skills is surplus.

Other Required Skills: 

• Good communication in English & Khmer, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in computer skills, MS. Office, Email, Internet, etc.
