Junior Radio Network Planning & Optimization Engineer

Job responsibilities

• Coordinate all technical activities dedicated to network planning, network performance optimization, and network extension, following the aim, to provide the best quality of network performance in all aspects including interconnection with other operators.
• Coordinate the processes of network planning and optimization, including traffic measurements for all interfaces.
• Responsible for coordination and execution of technical policies and programs related to the support of uninterruptible service of the network with the best performance.
• Develop and uses special software tools for statistical analysis.
• Plan of network configurations, based on the results of the statistical analysis.
• Prepare a frequency plan.
• Plan network expansions by preparing the Bill of Quantity for equipment purchases.
• Prepare periodical network performance reports.

Job requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology, or other related fields is required.

Working Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in operations & maintenance in switches, plus radio experience.

Other Required Skills:

• High level of experience in radio issues (coverage, interference, etc.) and frequency planning.
• Fully competent in computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Project, Internet, RF Planning & Network Planning Tools)
• Good communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in computer skills, MS. Office, Email, Internet, etc.
