Job responsibilities

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for partially overseeing the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program at Smart by making sure that the documentation and instruments are up-to-date, and tested, and also facilitating the BCM testing. He or she conducts a "Risk Management and Internal Control-SORMIC" assessment and monitors the closure of the identified gaps from the assessment of the BUs. He or she will be in charge of carrying out the assessment to identify high-risk transactions (HRT). Moreover, he or she will be assisting the supervisor or line manager as and when required.

• To partially facilitate the BUs to update their respective BIA/BCP Yearly or when required.
• Coordinate all types of Business Continuity Management (BCM) testing.
• To perform the training/workshops regarding the BCM to the internal staff to ensure the effective implementation of the BCM.
• To perform the SORMIC assessment then compile the report of the gaps and recommendations.
• To track and monitor the progress of the SORMIC gaps closures of the BUs and report the update regularly.
• To review the contracts, procurement documents, and payments to identify the high-risk transaction in terms of anti-bribery and anti-corruption and compile reports.

Job requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related field is required.
• A Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a relevant field.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Khmer.
• Proficient in using computers (Microsoft Office)
• Understanding of audit/compliance functions.
• Capable of managing several tasks under specified time frames.
• High attention to detail (Databases, Operating Systems, Networking, Backup and Recovery systems, Middleware, Virtualization Technologies...etc.).
• Must be proactive, energetic, passionate (ready to go above and beyond), self-confident, dedicated, and transparent.
• Should be creative, intelligent, and innovative.
