Job responsibilities
As the Head of Talent Acquisition at Smart Axiata, you will be responsible for leading and managing the talent acquisition function to attract, select, and hire top talent for our organization. You will develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies and processes to meet the company’s staffing needs while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The Head of Talent Acquisition will work closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand their requirements and align talent acquisition efforts with the company’s strategic goals.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies and plans to attract and retain qualified candidates for various positions within the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on talent acquisition best practices.
- Lead a team of talent acquisition professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management to ensure the team’s success.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent acquisition partners to expand the candidate pool.
- Oversee the end-to-end talent acquisition process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
- Implement and utilize applicant tracking systems and other talent acquisition tools to streamline and enhance the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze talent acquisition metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain employer branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a proven track record of successfully hiring for various positions.
- Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role within a talent acquisition function is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, sourcing strategies, and selection techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other talent acquisition tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to talent acquisition and hiring.
- Professional certifications in talent acquisition or human resources are a plus.
