Application Developer – Product Configuration

Job responsibilities

The Application Developer will join our product configuration unit and works on product configuration implementation, execution, test, and maintenance of Smart products such as Prepaid, Post-paid, and VAS Services to ensure all products are released with accuracy and meet the business requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Meet and discusses with product owners to understand their project requirements.
• Analyze the project's scope based on the business requirement by providing a technical feasibility study report to product owners.
• Work closely with technical stakeholders to understand the change impact and raise concerns about new and change requirements.
• Implement Smart products such as Prepaid Plans, Post-paid Plans, Smart Services, VAS Services, etc.
• Configure the products in USSD and IVR based on business requirements.
• Conduct technical testing and UATs with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Maintain existing products and monitor the system performance.
• Assist and resolve the trouble tickets that are raised by other departments to achieve the SLA.
• Support part of technical issues and troubleshoot the lives services and ensure services do not impact.

Job requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other equivalent education is required.

Working Experience:

• At least 2 or 3  years of working experience in relevant fields.

Technical skills:

• Programming languages: Java and SQL
• Platforms/Tools/ Environments: USSD, SMSC, MMSC, CRBT, OTA, JIRA and Confluence
• APIs: REST-Based API, JSON, SOAP
• Database: SQL Server - OS: Linux
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication in English, both spoken and written, and technical writing skill is required.

• Communication: Application Developers must be able to clearly communicate their ideas to teammates, stakeholders, and management.

• Attention to Detail: Have many parts to implement and understand the requirements and functions in the system to consistently demand and deliver accurate work with high-quality products.
• Problem-Solving: As issues come up, application developers need to be able to make decisions that move the project forward.
• Teamwork: Application Developers need to work well with others.
