Job Purpose

Junior Data Center Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible to executes operations, runs pro-active maintenance and manages vendors to ensure 100% power and cooling availability in data centers of Smart.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Conduct/Assist vendors to preventive and corrective maintenance of cooling systems and power systems of data centers including UPS, diesel generator, precision air conditioning, rectifiers, MSBs and MDBs, grounding and lightning system.   
  • Conduct/Assist vendors to preventive and corrective maintenance of fire suppression systems. 
  • Perform troubleshooting of malfunctioning power equipment and CRAC equipment in battery rooms and data center rooms. 
  • Follow access control procedures and assist in ensuring compliance with data center security policies. 
  • Periodically review CCTV systems deployed in data centers and battery rooms. 
  • Run monitoring of entrusted systems in a centralized monitoring system (NetEco). 
  • Deal with contractors and supervise them for installation, maintenance and emergency activities when needed. 
  • Provide emergency support for power and CRAC related issues. 
  • Be able to be 24/7 on-phone availability for power and CRAC related issues.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Energetic Engineering 
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in relevant fields 
  • Good in English, both written and spoken;
  • Full understanding of AC- and DC-power functioning principles;
  • Hands-on experience with rectifiers, enterprise UPS, and ATS/MSB
