ACTSmart Showcases 6 Promising Startups Contributing to Cambodia’s Next Growth Wave

Phnom Penh - On March 29, 2026, the ACTSmart Incubation Program revealed six winning startup ideas from Cambodian students and young entrepreneurs during its Final Pitch event at the AUPP Technology Center, following a 12-week incubation journey involving 17 teams. 

Co-initiated by Smart Axiata, AUPP Technology Center (ATC), and Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT), with support from the Capacity Building Research and Development (CBRD) Fund under the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), ACTSmart aims to strengthen Cambodia’s innovation ecosystem by equipping young founders with the tools to build scalable, real-world solutions.

Participants progressed from ideation to validated business concepts, presenting refined products, customer insights, and clear go-to-market strategies to a panel of judges from government, industry, and investment sectors.

“ACTSmart reflects our belief that the right support can turn bold ideas into real impact,” said Ms. Chem Srey Oeun, Head of Corporate Affairs, Smart Axiata. “Cambodia’s digital future will be shaped by a new generation of capable and driven founders—and we are committed to supporting them.”

ACTSmart Winners 2026

The top 3 startups from each category will receive cash prizes of USD 8,000, USD 6,000, and USD 4,000 awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively; and one representative from each team earned a spot on an exclusive regional tech trip in Singapore to experience cutting-edge innovation firsthand.

  • Student Startup Winner #1: Tokkatot | A smart farm assistant that reduces chicken mortality through automated care, using sensors and a simple mobile app to improve efficiency and farm control. 
  • Student Startup Winner #2: ByteLab | An innovative team developing plug-and-play robotic kits for schools, enabling hands-on learning in coding, engineering, and problem-solving.  
  • Student Startup Winner #3: TosTrip | A platform connecting travelers with authentic local experiences, empowering communities, creating economic opportunities, and preserving cultural heritage—with offline support and built-in safety features.

  • 1st Place: Local Dry applies modern processing to transform local harvests into premium products—ensuring safety, fair trade for farmers, and standardized processes for women producers, while advancing a more sustainable, digitalized F&B value chain.
  • 2nd Place: QlinicOS is an AI-powered operations platform designed to transform how clinics and hospitals work. From automating medical documentation and patient triage to supporting local-language voice assistants and care coordination, QlinicOS enables hospitals and clinics to work smarter and more efficiently.  
  • 3rd Place: Hikaru Lab provides end-to-end café solutions—from premium ingredients, including matcha, to equipment and training—ensuring consistent quality while advancing digital systems to scale operations and support more partners nationwide.

In addition to prizes, winning teams will receive post-incubation support from Smart Startup Space and ATC, focusing on product-market fit, customer growth, digitalization, and long-term sustainability—enabling them to further develop and scale their solutions for broader impact.

By identifying and supporting six standout ideas across students and startups, ACTSmart continues to position itself as a launchpad for Cambodia’s future founders, transforming innovation into businesses that strengthen the economy and accelerate digital ecosystem growth.
