Agency Management Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

Smart Axiata distributes SIM cards and Scratch Cards throughout Cambodia via its network of agencies. Territory Sales Officers (TSOs) are crucial to this distribution, with key responsibilities including:

  • Product Distribution: Distributing products to dealers within their assigned territory using ePOS.
  • Dealer Recruitment: Recruiting new dealers to expand Smart's presence in their dedicated territory.
  • Sales Enablement: Educating dealers to optimize sales generation for Smart.
  • Brand Deployment: Overseeing Smart branding initiatives nationwide.
  • POSM Management: Planning and dispatching Point of Sale Merchandising (POSM) stock to all relevant Smart channels.
     

1) Agency Management

  • Performance Monitoring: Manage goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for distributors, partners, and direct reports. Track ongoing results to ensure objectives related to subscribers, revenue, sales growth, availability, and visibility are achieved within the region.
  • Program Implementation: Oversee the implementation of brand, trade, and sales programs based on consumer and trade segment requirements in the region.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide ongoing market intelligence reports to inform management decisions and planning.
  • TSO Training & Onboarding: Educate Territory Sales Officers (TSOs) on ePOS DMS and the Dealer App, especially when new features are released or new TSOs are recruited.
  • Inventory and Cash Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of on-hand stock for each team by performing timely stock counts. Monitor sales and cash-in reports to ensure accurate cash clearance for each team.
  • Performance Communication: Communicate regularly and timely with each Smart agency regarding their performance.
  • Agency Structure & Development: Build effective agency organizational structures and facilitate agency territory development.
  • Ad-hoc Activities: Complete all other activities assigned by the supervisor as per management decisions.
  • Document Management: Maintain all agency-related documents, including contracts, agreements, and letters.

2) Sales Management & Reporting

  • Sales Growth Analysis: Collaborate with the analytics team and cluster to produce reports that identify opportunities to grow subscribers in various cluster locations.
  • Event Sales Planning: Arrange and plan door-to-door event sales team activities to distribute free SIMs at new site locations, areas with low market share, and unprofitable sites.
  • Event Execution & Performance: Ensure that event sales team execution meets performance targets and adheres to established frameworks.
  • Community Engagement Support: Support the engagement team in building relationships with key local influencers to foster a Smart community in various cluster locations.
  • Community Feedback & Reporting: Collect community feedback on product requirements, branding opportunities, and network needs, reporting this to the relevant departments for execution.
  • SWOT Analysis: Gather information from the channel sales team to produce SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) reports, informing subsequent actions such as training, product training, and stock replenishment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in pending tasks and propose improvement plans for the direct sales team and Smart Shop team.
  • Inter-departmental Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to expedite improvement processes within the department.
  • Project Completion: Work with the Head of Department to complete any projects defined by Smart.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 Years work experience in a process/ sales operations/ digital channel in telecommunications or a similar environment.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with diverse range of stakeholders at all levels including senior management and key professional staff cross-departmentally, to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Strong in project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish work relationships and communicate effectively with staffs at all levels including senior management.
  • Solid experience in Ms Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) is required.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good level of verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work with data and drive conclusions.
  • Proactive, passionate, self-confident, able to work effectively under pressure, quality oriented.
