Job Purpose

The Mobility & IOT Product Specialist is a vital force in the development, execution, and lifecycle management of innovative Mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) products and solutions for our enterprise customers. This role supports the Lead in transforming market opportunities into tangible, commercially successful offerings that leverage our core network assets (especially 5G), connectivity platforms, and edge computing capabilities. You will specialize in the technical and commercial details of the product portfolio, ensuring our solutions are competitive, profitable, and deliver outstanding value to businesses seeking digital transformation.

Job Responsibilities

Market & Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis of domestic and international Mobile and IoT solutions, including pricing, feature sets, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies (e.g., LPWA, private 5G, edge IoT platforms) and industry trends relevant to the enterprise segment (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, healthcare).
  • Synthesize market data into clear, actionable insights for product strategy formulation.

Product Lifecycle Support & Execution:

  • Support the Product Lead in defining and documenting detailed product requirements (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria based on market research and customer feedback.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize features in collaboration with engineering, IT, and network teams, acting as the day-to-day product owner for specific features or product components.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch, tracking key metrics (e.g., adoption rate, churn, ARPU) and identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement.

Commercial & Go to market Readiness:

  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop compelling product positioning, training materials, sales toolkits, and launch plans.
  • Support the development of pricing models and commercial policies that ensure product profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing technical and commercial support during high-value enterprise pitches and pilots.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Facilitate effective communication between technical development teams (Network, IT), commercial teams (Sales, Marketing), and support functions (Customer Service, Operations).
  • Manage relationships with key third-party technology partners and vendors whose solutions integrate into our final product offering.
Job Requirements

Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or Marketing

Technical / Product Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Product Development within the Telecommunications or high-tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of Mobile connectivity technologies (4G/LTE, 5G), including networking standards and enterprise-grade mobile services.
  • Familiarity with the IoT ecosystem, including devices, connectivity protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and security best practices.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Business / Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to conduct data analysis and translate product performance metrics into business recommendations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
