Sales Management Manager

Job Responsibilities

Growing Smart's business and improving nationwide branding and sales, the company will focus on expanding its dealer network, enhancing dealer education, optimizing product distribution, and analysing sales performance to propose strategic business actions.

  • Distributor Management:
    • Manage goals and KPIs for distributors / partner and direct reports; and track ongoing results to ensure that objectives in terms of subs, revenue, sales growth, availability and visibility are achieved within the region.
    • Manage the implementation of brand, trade and sales programs based on consumer and trade segment requirements in the region. 
    • Provide ongoing market intelligence reports to inform management decisions and planning. 
    • Educate TSO about ePOS DMS and Dealer App whenever new feature is created, and new TSO is recruited
    • To ensure the stock on hand accuracy of each team by performing a timely stock count.
    • To ensure the accuracy of cash clearance of each team by monitoring sales report and cash in report.
    • Timely communication with each of Smart agencies about their performance
    • Building the right agency organization structure and agency territory development
    • Complete all other activities assigned by the supervisor as per management decision. 
    • Maintain all Agencies related documents such as contract, agreement and letter. 

 

  • Retail Sales Management
    • Work closely with the cluster head to produce a report to identify areas of improvement at each Smart Shop.
    • Coordinate across departments to track Smart Shop sales and promotion performances.
    • Collect data and identify the needs of each Smart Shop and propose identical solutions to improve performance.
    • Proposed solution to close the risk and potential fraud at Smart Shop to direct line manager.
    • Coordinate end to end with the internal audit department to complete each fraud case found.
    • Coordinate with Smart Shop Operation team to study the efficiency of each Smart and recommend improvement plan
    • Work with Smart Shop Operation team to establish the business case to the 
    • Monitor and recommend Smart Shop Operation team on stock reconcile activities of every Smart shop.

 

  • Sales Management Report
    • Work closely with analytic team and cluster to produce reports that identify the opportunities to grow subscribers in various locations in cluster.
    • Arrange the plan for door-to-door event sales team to distribute SIM at new site location, target market share location and targeted potential site.
    • Ensure that event sales team execution with performance and according to the framework.
    • To support the engagement team with key locals to build relationships and create a Smart community in various potential locations of each cluster.
    • Collect community feedback such as product requirement, branding opportunity and network requirement and report related department for execution.
    • Collect information from the channel sales team and produce SWOT report for next actions such as training, product training, stock replenishment and other needs.
    • Identify the bottleneck of each pending task and propose an improvement plan for the direct sales team and the smart shop team.
    • Coordinate with various department to speed up the improvement process within department.
    • Work with head of department complete any project defined by Smart.

 

  • Strategic Sales Planning & Execution
    • Support the development of regional sales strategies, growth initiatives, and go-to-market plans aligned with corporate goals.
    • Monitor competitive activities and market trends; adjust sales tactics to maintain competitiveness in each cluster.

 

  • Digital Sales Enablement
    • Drive development of digital tools and platforms (e.g., dealer apps, e-KYC tools, digital top-up, CRM) to improve sales force productivity and customer experience.
    • Collaborate with digital and IT teams by bringing ideas and insights and scale new digital initiatives in the field.

 

  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure that all distributors and retail operations adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit guidelines.
    • Establish and monitor compliance frameworks for agency sales operations, incentive payments, and data accuracy.

 

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor and Management 
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 Years work experience in a process sales operation in telecommunications or a similar environment.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with diverse range of stakeholders at all levels including senior management and key professional staff cross-departmentally, to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Strong in project management and Coaching and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish work relationships and communicate effectively with staffs at all levels including senior management.
  • Solid experience in Ms Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) is required.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good level of verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work with data and drive conclusions.
  • Proactive, passionate, self-confident, able to work effectively under pressure, quality oriented.
