The Head of Home Internet Business will lead the growth and profitability of Smart’s Home Internet segment (Fiber and Fixed Wireless). This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to deliver competitive, customer-focused services. Key responsibilities include driving product innovation, managing the full customer lifecycle (acquisition, retention, churn, and fraud control), ensuring financial performance, and leading cross-functional execution to position Smart as a market leader in the home internet space.
Head of Home Internet Business
1. Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and refine strategic plans for the Fiber and Fixed Wireless segments in line with company goals.
- Design and implement market entry, growth, and retention strategies.
- Adapt initiatives based on changing market conditions and performance data.
2. Market & Competitive Insights
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Monitor competitor offerings to shape Smart’s value propositions.
- Use insights to continuously improve products and services.
3. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Own and manage the home internet P&L, including annual business planning and monthly revenue/cost forecasts.
- Evaluate financial feasibility of new offerings and market moves.
- Track financial KPIs and recommend actions to meet business targets.
4. Product Management
- Lead the development and rollout of Fiber and Fixed Wireless products.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and performance tracking.
- Work cross-functionally with technical, marketing, customer service, and operations teams.
5. Sales & Channel Management
- Lead sales teams and develop action plans to achieve targets.
- Optimize sales channels for better customer reach and experience.
- Monitor sales performance and close performance gaps.
- Enforce controls to prevent sales fraud and ensure compliance with policies.
6. Churn Reduction & Retention
- Design and execute strategies to reduce churn and improve retention.
- Analyze churn trends and root causes to tailor retention campaigns.
- Monitor churn KPIs and implement timely interventions.
7. Business Model Innovation
- Identify and test new business models to expand offerings and boost revenue.
- Build strategic partnerships and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Innovate on infrastructure and go-to-market approaches to grow market share.
8. Project Delivery & Operational Excellence
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement in operations and customer experience.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
9. Stakeholder Management
- Align and collaborate with internal teams (marketing, IT, operations, etc.) and external partners (infra providers, vendors, regulators).
- Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Foster alignment across teams to support segment goals.
10. Performance Monitoring
- Set, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze data to identify gaps and suggest improvements.
- Ensure all functions are accountable for achieving business outcomes.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 4–5 years in product or sales management, preferably in telecom.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- Financial modeling and commercial planning expertise.
- Solid understanding of telecom sales organizations and channels.
- Experience in managing telecom products, ideally Fiber and Fixed Wireless.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
- Customer-first mindset with strong project management skills.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Skilled in data analysis and business intelligence tools.
