What is SmartLuy?

SmartLuy is a mobile phone-based account that can be used for basic financial services such as money transfer, mobile top-up and payments, launched in 2015 by Smart Axiata, a leading mobile telecommunications company of Cambodia.

Who can register for a SmartLuy account?

All Smart prepaid and postpaid customers can register for SmartLuy account.

What does Smart provide to new SmartLuy registered customer?

If you register to SmartLuy, a private electronic account will be provided to you.  This account will allow you to send and recieve money,  pay your utility bills and do mobile top up to any operator. Stay tuned for additional services!

SmartLuy account?

How many types of SmartLuy accounts are there?

There are two types of SmartLuy accounts:
- Classic: account size up to 100 USD
- Gold    : account size is up to 1,000 USD

How to top up SmartLuy account?

There are two ways to top-up your SmartLuy account:
a) Visit any Smart Shop (nationwide) nearest to you.
b) Visit the nearest SmartLuy Agent to you.

Does the SmarLuy balance expire?

SmartLuy balance will never expire as we are talking about real money here. However, SmartLuy transactions can only be done when the SIM card is in active status.

How to register for SmartLuy Classic?

SmartLuy Classic is a standard account. To register for Classic, please dial *1111#, follow the instructions accordingly and subscribe to Classic SmartLuy account.

What is the requirement for upgrading from classic type to Gold?

To upgrade to Gold, please visit any of the Smart Shops/Store nationwide with your photo ID or call 788.

General Questions?

Where can non-SmartLuy customers cash-out the money they received from the senders?

Non-SmartLuy customers can cash-out the money they receive from the senders at any Smart Store and Shops SmartLuy Agents (nationwide).

How long does it take to cash-out your balance should you proceed with SmartLuy termination?

To perform SmartLuy termination, please visit Smart Store/Shops. Necessary forms have to be completed and handed over to SmartLuy Customer Service Officers. Officers will then perform the full SmartLuy Cash-Out immediately. Service charges apply. 

What if I forget my PIN?

Please call 788 to reset your PIN. 

How long does it take to get a new pin?

Due to security reasons, the PIN Reset is a sensitive request. Upon receiving your request, we will verify it. Your PIN Reset request will be granted within one business day. You will receive a SMS notification to inform you that your PIN Reset request has been successful.
