Smart is in search of the fastest man and woman in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH, 20^th October 2015 – Smart Axiata announces the launch of the Smart Mega Concert 2015 tour in conjunction with 4G LTE by Smart being available in all 25 provinces of Cambodia. As part of the Smart Mega Concert 2015 tour, the “I am the fastest” national competition to find the fastest man and woman of Cambodia is conducted.

Smart Mega Concert cum “I am the fastest” national competition is the largest combination of sport and music carnival ever been held in Cambodia. It is a one of its kind event series. We hope this national competition will encourage, discover and recruit more sportsmen and sportswomen in Cambodia. Running is a basic sport which everyone can do, no equipment or special training needed, that’s why it is the ideal community sport. The “I am the fastest” competition is open to all citizens of Cambodia aged 6 or above. The event series will start on 31^st October 2015 and will continue every Saturday over 23 locations towards the final competition on 11^th December 2015 at Koh Pich, Phnom Penh. During the regional competitions, we will find at least one male and one female representatives from each province to run then for national championship.

In order to become the National Champion, the fastest man or fastest woman needs to beat all the fastest men and women from other provinces in the speed race. The National Champion, male and female each, will be rewarded with 5,000 USD cash, with Huawei’s latest P8 4G LTE smartphone, a gold mobile number, one year of free data usage (1GB per month), an Adidas full set of running apparels and many more.

Besides the main speed race, the supporters, friends and families can also participate in our 09 different types of family sport games. There will be prizes for the winners for every family sport game. After finding the fastest man and woman in each particular province, all participants, supporters, friends and families are invited to join our Smart Mega Concert, which will feature many popular artists and superstars that Cambodians idolize. So, in every province, we will start the day with the “I am the fastest“ National Competition with the speed race and family sport competitions and conclude with the Smart Mega Concert in the evening.
