See You Soon’ to represent the Kingdom in M3 World Championship with Smart Axiata’s support
Phnom Penh, December 7, 2021 – MPL Cambodia Season 1 eSports champion ‘See You Soon’ will represent the Kingdom in the third edition of M3 World Championship, a highly anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship tournament in Singapore with the support from Smart Axiata who has strongly invested in development eSports talents and industry in Cambodia.
Participants of 16 teams from 12 countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas will compete against each other for a prize pool of 800,000 USD. The tournament will run from December 6 to 19. Cambodian esports fans will be able to livestream the tournament on Leng by Smart.
Captain of See You Soon, Som Sophany who also goes by Paragon, said “I plan to create a positive family like environment that instills hard work, mindset, dedication, perseverance and grit. Victory in the M3 tournament would be extremely important for us as well as for Cambodian Mobile Legends lovers. During this year’s title-winning campaigns in MPL Cambodia Season 1, See You Soon proved to be consistent throughout beating the team’s closest rival DG Quantum 3-2 in the final matches.
With Smart’s support as well a partnership with Moonton Games, the company that developed Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, MPL Cambodia was launched in August 2021. The eSports tournament culminated in winning team See You Soon’s victory which has resulted in the winner’s participation in the M3 World Championship in Singapore.
MPL Cambodia Season 2 will be back in force next year to provide even more eSports thrills and entertainment.

The MPL season achieved millions of online views when it launched in August. At the tournament’s peak MPL achieved 620,000 concurrent viewers at one time.
