Song of the Year ​

• The song must have been released in 2021​
• Only songs that are available in the Pleng app are eligible​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​
• The eight nominee songs with the most streams will be put to a public vote​

New Artist of the Year​

• Only new artists who released hit song content in the Pleng app in 2021 are eligible​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​
• The six nominee artists with the most streams will be put to a public vote​

Male Artist of the Year​​

• Only male artists who have released song content in the Pleng app are eligible​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​
• The six nominee artists with the most streams will be put to a public vote​

Female Artist of the Year​​

• Only female artists who have released song content in the Pleng app are eligible​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​
• The six nominee artists with the most streams will be put to a public vote​

Best Collaborative Song of the Year​

• The song must have been released in 2021​
• Only songs that are available in the Pleng app are eligible ​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Songs must feature a minimum of two artists​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​
• Top streaming 8 songs will be selected as the nominee​

​Music Video of the Year​

• Based on the storyline, cinematography, editing techniques and number of streams in the Pleng app ​
• Only songs that are available in the Pleng app are eligible ​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​

Band of the Year​

• Bands who have released music content, exclusively or not, in the Pleng app are eligible​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​
• The six nominee bands with the most streams will be put to a public vote​

Most Streamed Song ​

• The song must have been released in 2021​
• Only songs that are available in the Pleng app are eligible​
• Based on number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​

​Most Streamed Female Artist​

• Female artists who have released song content in the Pleng app are eligible​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​
• The female artist with the most streams will win automatically without voting​

Most Streamed Male Artist​

• Male artists who have released song content in the Pleng app are eligible​
• Based on the number of streams in the Pleng app​
• Only streams from January 1, 2021, to December 10, 2021, will be counted​
• The male artist with the most streams will win automatically without voting​

​Lifetime Achievement Award​

• The artist who has published the most song content in the Pleng app​
• During their lifetime, they must have created innovative and outstanding work in Cambodia’s music industry​

1. Public voting (40% of the total score)​

Fans can vote for their favorite artists and songs in the Pleng app. To ensure fairness, each voter must register their phone number before voting. ​

Note: One phone number can only vote once in each award category.​

2. Voting by music professionals (40% of the total score) ​

Music industry professionals are defined as well-known and experienced music producers, songwriters and music video directors in Cambodia. A Pleng committee will invite the technicians and specialists from several large and independent production houses to make the voting process balanced and fair. ​

3. Total number of streams in the Pleng app (20% of the total score) ​

In addition to voting in the Pleng app, fans can continue to support their favorite artists and songs by simply streaming songs in the Pleng app during the voting period. ​
