Partnership with Hungama, India’s leading digital entertainment company and local entertainment powerhouse Hang Meas to provide to all Cambodian music lovers the best entertainment experience
Phnom Penh, 19th February 2019: Smart Axiata, Cambodia’s leading mobile operator, officially launched ‘Pleng’, a rebrand and complete revamp of the former Smart Music application, that combines the best ways to listen to music online and offline – wherever you are, whenever you wish. The event also witnessed the partnership announcement of Smart and Hungama as well as Smart and Hang Meas to maximize the availability of local entertainment content in Pleng.
Pleng by Smart, powered by Hungama, India’s leading digital entertainment company, is a digital library of more than 1 million Cambodian and international songs, the largest and most diverse collection in the Kingdom. Pleng’s radio-streaming service is curated by the finest DJs, offering a range of genres from local and international pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic to classic Khmer Rock ‘n’ Roll. With Pleng, users can shuffle their playlists, enjoy enhanced play features as well as follow their favorite artist profiles.
Available on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store, Pleng puts the entire entertainment catalog at the fingertips of Cambodian music lovers for free whilst allowing unlimited downloads or on demand streaming of world-class music as well as live radio for 99 cents per month. Pleng has also been built with a variety of technical improvements over the previous Smart Music app, making it faster, more responsive and easier to use.
Building on its digital lifestyle propositions, Pleng by Smart will provide Smart customers and other music lovers with an abundance of entertainment opportunities, leveraging its advanced mobile network.
