Terms & Conditions

  • You can earn points and redeem rewards from September 2020 onwards.
  • You can view your total points in the SmartVIP tab in the SmartNas app.
  • You will lose all the points you have collected if you enter suspended status.
  • The points you have collected will expire at the end of the third reward period (a reward period is 6 months) after the points were earned. The reward periods are January 1 to June 30 and July 1 to December 31 every year.

For example:

  • Points earned between January 1, 2020, and June 30, 2020, will expire on June 30, 2021.
  • Points earned between July 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020, will expire on December 31, 2021.
  • You can only redeem rewards via the SmartNas app.
  • You must be a SmartVIP to redeem rewards.
  • The number of points you earn through Smart @Home is determined by the plan and number of months’ service you purchase. Points can be earned by new subscribers and existing subscribers (through renewal packages).
  • Points will be received by Smart @Home subscribers monthly.

1. What is SmartVIP Points?

SmartVIP Points is a points collection system for our most loyal customers. The more points you earn, the more prizes you can redeem. With your points, you can redeem mobile data, bonuses and merchandise.

2. How do I collect SmartVIP Points?

At Smart, we want you to get the best value for your money – so we’ve made it easy for you to collect points. You can earn points from subscribing to Smart ThomMorng! Weekly, Smart OsPaNhaHa!, Smart StreamOn 2, Smart StreamOn 8 and any of our Smart @Home plans. You can also earn points through seasonal promotions and selected services.

Please note that points earned from subscribing to Smart plans and services are not equal. The higher the cost of your plan, the more points you’ll earn, for example.

3. How can I collect my merchandise?

First, make sure that you have already reserved the item of merchandise before you go to redeem it. Then, follow these collection instructions:

  1. Head to your selected Smart Shop before your merchandise reservation expires.
  2. Provide the merchandise details and your phone number to our Smart Shop agent.
  3. You will then receive an SMS with a confirmation code.
  4. Show the SMS to our agent and collect your merchandise. It’s that easy!

4. Can I reserve multiple items of merchandise at a time?

You can only reserve 1 item of merchandise at a time. Please collect the item you have already reserved to reserve more items.

5. Will my points be deducted if my merchandise reservation expires?

If your merchandise reservation expires, the points will return to your SmartVIP Points balance.

6. Will my SmartVIP Points expire?

Yes, they will. Your SmartVIP Points are valid for between 1 and 1 and a half years, as explained below.

Points earned between January and June in any year will expire at the end of June 1 and a half years later. For example, points earned between January and June in 2020 will expire on June 30, 2021.

Points earned between July and December in any year will expire at the end of December 1 and a half years later. For example, points earned between July and December in 2020 will expire on December 31, 2021.

Please also note that all SmartVIP Points will be removed if you enter suspended status.

7. How can I view my SmartVIP Points?

You can view your SmartVIP Points in the SmartNas app as long as you are a SmartVIP. However, you can still earn points by subscribing to Smart plans and services even if you are not a SmartVIP.

8. How do I become a SmartVIP?

You simply need to top up 5 USD or more each month. Once you become a SmartVIP, your status will automatically change in the SmartNas app.

9. Can I transfer SmartVIP Points to someone else?

Unfortunately, you cannot transfer SmartVIP Points to someone else.

10. What should I do if I go to redeem an item of merchandise at the selected Smart Shop but my reservation has expired?

  1. If you arrive at the selected Smart Shop but your reservation has expired, you can make another reservation while you’re there.
  2. If the item that you want to reserve is still available at the Smart Shop, then you can still reserve and redeem the item there.
  3. If the item is not available at the Smart Shop, you may need to reserve another item or redeem it at another Smart Shop.

11. What should I do if I want to redeem the item of merchandise I have reserved at a different Smart Shop to the shop I selected?

You can cancel the item that you have already reserved then reserve it at another Smart Shop. The SmartVIP Points will return to your balance once you have canceled the reservation.
