Charlie Puth unveiled as Smart Mega Concert headliner
Phnom Penh, 10th September 2018: American pop sensation Charlie Puth will headline this year’s Smart International Mega Concert at Koh Pich, Phnom Penh on 2nd November 2018, closing out a night of top live music and entertainment, exclusively for Smart subscribers.
The 26-year old Charlie Puth gained international attention with his 2015 hit song ‘See You Again’, which was featured on the Fast and Furious 7 movie soundtrack. Subsequent hits like ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’, ‘One Call Away’ and ‘Attention’ have further solidified his position as one of U.S.’s top male pop singers.

Charlie Puth started his music career as a video blogger – vlogger – on YouTube doing cover songs, before becoming famous for his own songs.
“Charlie is an example of how hard work as well as savvy use of social media can be used to share the love for music and become a star. He is an inspiration for aspiring artists across the globe where songs such as ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ and ‘Attention’ have become such popular hits, including in Cambodia. Hopefully some of Cambodia’s bright and talented singers will follow in his footsteps,” Thomas added.
Previous Smart International Mega Concerts have been graced by superstars like South Korea’s CL and Rain, Demi Lovato from the U.S. and U.K.’s Jessie J. This year’s concert will also feature a fantastic lineup of local Khmer Original artists before Charlie Puth’s headlining performance.

Tickets can be redeemed at selected Smart Shops in Phnom Penh from tomorrow, 11th September 2018 onwards: Smart Shop Monivong, Smart Shop AEON Mall, Smart Shop AEON Sen Sok, Smart Shop Koh Pich, Smart Shop Nehru, Smart Shop TK Avenue, Smart Shop Phnom Penh Centre and Smart Shop Exchange Square. All Smart subscribers planning to go for the concert are advised to pick up their tickets at those Smart Shops before the event day.
