Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for fulfilling open positions across all business divisions, this position aggressively seeks out and evaluates qualified applicants who meet the necessary qualifications in terms of knowledge, abilities, and Smart Core Values. A talent acquisition specialist may also assist with the implementation of employer branding and recruitment initiatives that will help the organization's talent pool remain strong.
  • Process every step of the employment process, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding. Additionally, maintain an outstanding candidate and employee experience throughout the hiring process to support and establish strong employer branding.
  • Utilize online and offline channels to find, screen, and hire the best applicants. Use evaluation tools and interviewing strategies to choose the best candidates.
  • Build a strong relationship with the internal HR team and key stakeholders such as the hiring manager, potential candidates in the talent pool, and existing employees through providing hiring consulting and internal career movement.
  • Execute employer branding strategies to expand sourcing channels and improve processes to recruit and onboard new talents in Smart. Maintain awareness of competitors' practices and industry trends, and recruitment standards.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand the gaps in staffing adequately and assess the needs and requirements to ensure that expectations are met.
  • Facilitate hiring process, accurately administrate paperwork, and process database of newcomer's information in HRIS.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or other related fields is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Exceptional ability to screen candidates compile shortlists, and interview candidates.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be a data-driven mindset with a high sense of confidentiality.
