Job responsibilities

Senior Modern Trade Executive is to recruit and builds longer business successively by identifying and selling prospects on Smart’s Traveler SIM products in the Tourism field; maintaining relationships with partners by paying a visit, and providing support and guidance with benefit recommendation and service improvements to achieve business objectives. A most experienced member of the sales team and have superior analytical skills and a firm grasp on customers/partners through the sales process.

  • Take responsibility for corporation products such as Traveler SIM, Data SIM, and Scratch card or top-up.
  • Find prospects/leads and plan sales visitation to recruit long-term business partnerships.
  • Identify business opportunities with current and prospective customers, and analyze opportunities by researching the industry and market trends.
  • Maintain a good relationship with larger clients by providing information, support, and guidance to ensure the business achieves a goal and in good trends record.
  • Handle entire sales operations to achieve the quarterly target set by the manager.
  • Plan and execute feedback & developed solutions for the sales team to deliver to customers and ensure that the team under supervision pushed the business to grow and be on the right track.
  • Prepare reports by collecting sales information and other tasks assigned to report to the Manager
  • Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor and management.

Job requirements

Education & Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing/International Business or other related fields.

Working Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in doing sales or similar roles.

Specific Skills:

  • Strong history in Sales and proven record of successfully closing the deal and sales growth.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with good time management.
  • Good command of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoints, Outlook, …).
  • A set of leadership and organizational skills with high self-discipline.
  • Critical thinking, superior analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Strong negotiation & consultative sales skills.
  • Great interpersonal and excellent presentation.
  • Ability to maintain calm composure in stressful situations and the ability to work in a team environment.
