Job responsibilities

• Maintain and operation of MIFE/ESB/API platforms. 
• Participate in API gateway implementation and publishing and assist in resolving related API interface problems.
• Stabilize responsible platforms, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Alert for problem-solving and escalating process needs.
• Work closely with vendors, 3rd parties, and stakeholders.
• Play more roles in supervising team members and task delegation.
• Operate, maintain, and configure the MIFE/ESB/API layer platform and publish APIs to MIFE.
• Support and participate in API design and specifications and integrated testing across sub-systems.
• Work closely with WSO2 system vendors, 3rd parties, and stakeholders.
• Assist in any tech issues related to API design/performance and API Gateway implementations.
• Stabilize system performance, day-to-day monitor and alert management for problem-solving and escalating processes.
• Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues under time pressure.
• Work within tight deadlines and multi-task effectively.
• Play more role in leading team members and task delegation.
• Prepare reports on performance and technical key performance indicators.
• Willing to work at night time if any operation required, 24h/7days on remote work and onsite emergency support.

Job requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields is required.
• Certification in telecommunication Technology or business acumen is a plus.

Working Experience & Specific Qualifications:

• Experience with ReSTFul APIs and Understanding SOAP APIs
• Experience in Application development such as Web, Mobile App, and API
• Experience with LINUX operation systems such as SSH, SFTP, TCP, tracing, check logs, shell script, and understating Basic Web services and Database configuration
• Experience with the following software: RDBMS tools, Visual Studio Code, and Eclipse.
• Able to work comfortably with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs) and microservices including APIs, proxy-services, and Mediation or ESB.
• Knowledge of advanced MySQL database.
• Knowledge of WSO2 products, Mobile Connect, MS SQL Server, and Oracle is a plus.
• Understanding distributed systems, caching, and persistence solutions.
• Strong in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
• Good communication in English, both spoken and written.
