Radio Network & Optimization Manager

Job responsibilities

As the RNOP Manager, you will be managing, developing and leading a team of engineers responsible for:

  • Radio network Planning and Optimization of GSM / UMTS / LTE / NR;
  • Radio Coverage & Capacity Dimensioning, RF Planning and Optimization, E2E optimization (KPIs), performance monitoring, drive test log analysis, site engineering, network audit, etc;
  • Trialing, tuning and implementing of GSM / UMTS / LTE / NR Radio network features
  • VoLTE / SRVCC / CSFB troubleshooting and optimization

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor other Planning team members to continuously develop their technical knowledge and RF design competency.
  • Proactively, communicate, create and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
  • Supporting Enterprise Sales, [email protected] and Retail teams as well as addressing customer requests and network-related inquiries.
  • Effectively present a design and its justification internally and externally.
  • Review, update and maintain, and enforce RF design standards and guidelines that are consistent with industry standards.
  • Develop and manage design configuration control to efficiently manage and organize design documentation from concept to completion.
  • Demonstrate ability to drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining network performance KPIs.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in wireless network design, performance testing, and network optimization.
  • Track and manage all projects, provide analysis and trends on these projects, and prepare reports and analyses necessary for internal and external customer meetings and presentations.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Telecom engineering and any related engineering degree
  • 5 years in related field in radio issues, radio optimization (Coverage, interference, quality, etc) and frequency planning
  • High level of experience in radio issues (coverage, interference, etc) and frequency planning
  • High level in computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Project, Internet, RF Planning & Network Planning Tools)
  • Highly curious, ambitious, courageous, innovative and accountable
  • Decent English both spoken and written
