Job responsibilities

We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Modern Trade Executive to help us build up our business activities with Modern retail channels for both online & offline channel.

Modern Trade Executive responsibilities include exploring and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining partner relationships. Ultimately, you will help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth. In addition, you will be supported to the Modern Trade Team with other tasks as assigned by the Management.

  • Negotiate and achieve on recruitment partnership with Modern retail partners to sell Smart’s products such as SIM card, devices, Airtime Top Up and others possible products
  • Establish & maintain good relationship with partners and understanding their needs and requirement
  • Achieve growth and hit budgeted sales targets
  • Review customer’s contract and ensure implementation
  • At modern retail outlet, review products’ visibility, display and ensure maximum products exposer through market visits and report market status to management
  • Prepare daily and monthly sales activities plan and report to management
  • Gather feedback from customers & market, and develop strategic action plan to management
  • Support to the Modern Trade Team with other tasks as assigned by the Management.

Job requirements

Education & Qualification:

  • Degree from Sales/Marketing/International Business or other related filed

Working Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in sales with Retail Channel (online & offline) or similar role

Specific Skills:

  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Good command of MS Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Punctuality/ Good time-management and being able to manage multi task with deadline
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skill
  • Proficiency in English both verbally and written (Chinese will be look upon favorably)
  • Thorough understanding of market and negotiating techniques
  • Great interpersonal, Presentation & communication skills
