Incentive and Performance Management Specialist

Job responsibilities

The Incentive & Performance Management Specialist will support the implementation process and projects initiated for improvements and revisions to the incentive scheme, including concept preparation, business impact evaluation, execution plan, and effects post evaluation. This role is responsible for initiating, upgrading, and maintaining reports and analyses to support the incentive management process in Smart Axiata.

  • Support design and implementation of monthly performance monitoring across channels and product lines of the company.
  • Continuously follow up and actively search for relevant information from internal stakeholders related to business performance and strategic directions of the company to initiate, propose, and execute improvements to the Incentive & Performance Management scheme.
  • Support business evaluation of the changes proposed in the Incentive & Performance Management scheme.
  • Support communication and training on the impacted sales teams.
  • Proactively conduct post-implementation monitoring and analysis of any changes implemented.
  • Actively support monthly sales performance meetings, where to conduct reporting and analysis of the latest performance per channel, which is to be used as a base for proposed and agreed targets and incentives for the following period.
  • Proactively search information from Product teams in designing the incentive scheme to support product performance objectives
  • Cooperate actively with sales management teams for engaging them in monthly performance monitoring and management.
  • Support active monitoring of the sales incentive pay-out in cooperation with the Finance team.
  • Support accuracy and timeliness of commission payments as outlined in the plans.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance results regularly and prepare reports to proactively assist management in making informed decisions.
  • Active use of MicroStrategy and spreadsheets to gather data to calculate commission/incentive payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions.
  • Support the development and/or improvement of systems to effectively track and/or capture data in active collaboration with the BI team.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Sales Operations, and Sales Managers to timely resolve sales compensation issues.

Job requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or other related fields is required.

Working Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience within the Sales and or analysis area.
  • Experience in the Telecom industry will be an advantage.

Other Required Skills:

  • Good communication in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Ability to develop and fast-learning in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure within deadlines.
  • Must be a proactive person.
