Job responsibilities

The Field Ops Transmission Manager is to lead, manage and control the field ops team and plan resource utilization, and assign a team for troubleshooting, expansion, and reshuffling of the network to make sure the network link is running smoothly with defined KPI.

• To manage the day-to-day activity of the network operation center.
• To control the execution of plan work to ensure it is finished in a defined time.
• To check, monitor, and analyze the performance of the availability of network and power systems.
• To control the execution of radio station upgrade and Ater, Gb, Abis interface upgrade.
• To installation and commissioning of radio station, transmission and power system.
• To advise and online support
• To work with contractors & vendors for acceptance, maintenance & escalation activities.

Job requirements

Education & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic or other related fields is required.

Working Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in related fields.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of transmission, radio, and power supply
• Experiences in operation and maintenance, troubleshooting related to telecommunication sector

Specific Skills:

• Knowledge and ability to understand the telecommunications industry, the end-to-end architecture, value chain, systems, and interconnect/inter-operation including process flows from the customer to service in support of service delivery and the services from the customer demands to the delivery, in the context of your domain of expertise.
• Knowledge and ability to perform contract management and monitoring, including the verification of performance, inspection of the works and ensuring adherence to quality, costs and timelines.
• Knowledge and ability to initiate, plan, execute and monitor projects or programs, while managing time, costs, and quality.
• Knowledge and ability to ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials/goods to the operations, while minimizing wastage, delays, and costs.
• Knowledge and ability to define and manage processes for deploying and integrating new digital capabilities into the business in a way that is sensitive to and fully compatible with business operations.
