Job responsibilities
The Field Ops Transmission Manager is to lead, manage and control field team and plan resource utilization and assign team for troubleshooting, expansion and reshuffle of network to make sure network link is running smoothly with defined KPI.
- To manage day to day activity of network operation center.
- To control execution of plan work to ensure it is finished in defined time.
- To check, monitor and analyze performance of availability of network and power system.
- To control execution of radio station upgrade and Ater, Gb, Abis interface upgrade.
- To installation and commissioning of radio station, transmission and power system.
- To advise and online support
- To work with contractors & vendors for acceptance, maintenance & escalation activities
Job requirements
Education & Qualification:
- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree
- Area of Education: Telecom, IT or Electricity and Electronic
Working Experience:
- No of relevant years of experience: more than 5 years
- Experiences in operation and Maintenance of Transmission, Radio and power supply
- Experiences on operation and maintenance, troubleshooting related to telecommunication sector
Specific Skills:
- Knowledge and ability to understand the telecommunications industry, the end to end architecture, value chain, systems and interconnect/inter-operation including process flows from customer to service in support of service delivery and the services from the customer demands to the delivery, in the context of your domain of expertise.
- Knowledge and ability to perform contract management and monitoring, including the verification of performance, inspection of the works and ensuring adherence to quality, costs and timelines
- Knowledge and ability to initiate, plan, execute and monitor projects or programs, while managing time, costs and quality
- Knowledge and ability to ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials/goods to the operations, while minimizing wastage, delays and costs
- Knowledge and ability to define and manage processes for deploying and integrating new digital capabilities into the business in a way that is sensitive to and fully compatible with business operations.
