Job responsibilities

As an FBB Rollout Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of Fixed Broadband (FBB) / Fixed Wireless Broadband (FWBB) networks, focusing on both enterprise solutions and retail access networks. This includes managing a team of two engineers: a B2B Access Network Planning and Implementation Engineer and an FBB/FWBB Planning & Implementation Engineer. You will ensure the most relevant and efficient solutions are implemented to fulfill customer needs, manage contractors for implementation, and control the technical performance of fixed and wireless domains.

As an FBB Rollout Manager, you will be accountable for:

• Managing the planning and implementation of wired and wireless network access solutions for enterprise customers.
• Creating Low-Level Design (LLD) for network solutions and managing the implementation process.
• Leading the planning of FBB and FWBB networks in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams.
• Defining geographical areas for network expansion and managing the implementation process.
• Controlling the technical performance of both fixed and wireless domains and recommending optimizations for the access networks.
• Leading, guiding, and supporting a team of two engineers in their respective roles.
• Collaborating with other departments, including marketing, sales, and technical teams, to ensure effective and efficient network rollout.
• Managing and overseeing the work of contractors involved in network implementation.
• Ensuring compliance with network standards and regulations.
• Reporting on network implementation progress, challenges, and solutions to the Head of Network Implementation and other relevant stakeholders.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network planning and implementation, with a focus on FBB and FWBB networks.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.
• Experience in working with contractors and managing network implementation projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of Fixed Broadband (FBB) and Fixed Wireless Broadband (FWBB) networks.
• Knowledge of network planning and implementation.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Risk management skills.
• Ability to negotiate and manage contractors and oversee large projects.
• Proficiency in network design and optimization.
