Job responsibilities

• Deploying, maintaining, and monitoring servers, storages, and the virtualization environment as well as applications to ensure timely provisioning, security compliance, and high availability for company systems and applications.
• Collaborating with vendors to install server equipment in data centers within projects.
• Executing project/tasks related to virtualization to enhance, upgrade, maintain, and expand platforms to respond to the business demand.
• Executing projects and tasks related to enterprise storage to support capacity demand, avail data protection, and high data availability.
• Monitoring and responding to issues related to the health and performance of servers, storage, and virtualization environment.
• Replacing faulty server parts and handling relevant matters with vendors.
• Applying system patches and enabling security controls to minimize system vulnerabilities.
• Executing disaster drills to comply with BCM (Business Continuity Management) requirements and be at the proper level of disaster recovery preparedness.
• Performing system backup and restoration tasks.
• Supporting junior team members whenever needed.
• Supporting application/business team to deploy and publish applications on the Internet.
• Proposing ideas towards unification, simplification, and modernization of systems.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field.
• Certified in VMware virtualization is plus
• Three years of working experience with Linux, Windows OS, and server hardware
• Experience working with Storage Area Network
• Two years experience of working with well-known virtualization systems
• Hands-on experience with applying security controls and vulnerabilities fixes
• Understand TCP/IP principles
• Hands-on experience in storage technology
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Self-starter, High attention to detail, Communication skills, Customer focus
• Good in English, both written and spoken.
